SEPT. 2011 - MISC PICS OF HAWAII

It's already September and the kids have already been in school for a month now.  I can't believe how fast this year is flying by.  We have already been on the island 6 months now and it seems like we just got here.  We are truly enjoying our time here. We really enjoy going to the beach and just experiencing all the beauty that Hawaii has to offer.

We also took some time to visit the Honolulu Zoo. It is a small zoo but still plenty to see. So here are some of animals we saw.

I wish I could remember what this animal is called.  But it was totally cute.

AUGUST 2011 -

Well it's finally August and so it time for the kids to return to school.  Isabel will start Kindergarten and Rowan will be in 2nd Grade.  It is hard to believe he is already in 2nd grade and by the end of the year he will be getting baptized.  This month we also had our first marriage retreat which was held at the Marriott hotel in Ko Olina.  The kids had fun going to the pool and seeing the different kinds of fish, rays and hammer head sharks there.  It was pretty cool.

This is the only picture I could get of Rowan on his first day.  He is such a big boy now.

JULY 31, 2011 - KARATE TOURNAMENT

Today Rowan had his first karate tournament.  He was so excited but it was a long day.  He got to compete in sparring and for his first try he did pretty well. He was so excited that he earned a second place medal. 

JULY 2011 - MY NEW NEPHEW

Well last month my brother welcomed his first child into the world. Zedek Abram Duran. He is such a cutie and I wish I could be there to hold him. But we are thousands of miles away and hopefully they will get a chance to visit us here in Hawaii because I just want to love on this little guy.
