AUGUST 20, 2009 - HOUSTON SPACE CENTER

At the last minute Chris decided to take a little trip to Houston before Rowan starts school. So we decided to go the Space Center. It is really cool place and is really neat for the kids. Rowan and Isabel really enjoyed the trip.

August - Chris E7 Promotion

Here are some pics of Chris' E7 Promotion party at work. Me, the kids and his parents and my parents were able to be there for him. His mom took more pics but I don't have those. And yes I conveniently kept myself out of the pics. Ha. Ha. We are so proud of him and how much he has accomplished in these 7 years in the military. In November Chris will be leaving to OCS for school and then off to school for MP. So we won't see much of him until graduation and then sometime in July when he finishes his MP training. I know that he will make a great officer. Hopefully once he graduates from OCS we will know where we are going and hopefully it isn't in Texas.

I can't wait to see this movie. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is better than the first one.

June 28, 2009 Hana Pestle Video for "Need"

This is such a great song that I hope that you like it. Hana Pestle is trying everything in her power to have song on the soundtrack for New Moon. Which I personally feel would be perfect. FATHER'S DAY - JUNE 21, 2009

Well Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there. Especially to you Chris. I just wanted to let you know what a great father you are to Rowan and Isabel. They love you so much and I am glad they have such a wonderful example to follow. So here are some pics of the kids with daddy.

Pre-K Graduation - June 5, 2009

Well yes they had a Pre-K Graduation ceremony for Rowan's class. It was very cute to see the kids sing some songs and get their certificate of completion. Mrs. Walters and Ms. Meyers' had the kids make graduation caps. They were all very proud to wear them. We are so proud of Rowan and of all of the accomplishments he has made this year. He is growing up to fast. I remember when he was little and now he is this little boy bubbling with so much energy. He has so much enthusiasm for life and I wish sometimes I had all of his energy.

Rowan's Field Day - May 29, 2009

I went to Rowan's school for Field Day, he was surprised to see me. He had a lot of fun going through the obstacle course. He also was so proud of himself for getting a strike during bowling. It was a lot of fun and I am glad that I didn't miss for the world.
